iWorldWonders: Exploring the Stories Behind Every Stone

Hello, fellow explorers, road trippers, and everyday people looking for incredible travels, experiences, and views! I’m thrilled to welcome you to the launch of my travel blog, a space where geography, adventure, and personal growth collide in the most exciting ways. This journey began years ago, in a Grade 9 Geography class with the unforgettable teacher who inspired my love for the world and travel. His profound enthusiasm for the subject was infectious, and I vividly recall his mesmerizing collection of rocks displayed at the front of the classroom. Each rock had its own story—an ancient origin, a place of wonder, or a pivotal historical moment. My teacher’s passion for these seemingly simple objects turned them into portals of discovery, igniting my own love for Geography and the stories it tells. 

Fast forward to today, and my fascination with the world has only deepened. During my university studies, I successfully obtained my Bachelor of Arts and Science with a focus in Geography. I’ve immersed myself in understanding our planet's landscapes, cultures, and histories. Whether hiking up a mountain or exploring a new city, I’ve made it a habit to collect rocks as mementos—tiny, tangible pieces of my travels that link back to those early lessons from my grade 9 Geography teacher. Geography, as I learned, isn’t just a subject but a rich tapestry weaving together Mathematics, Language, Science, History, Art, and Music. It’s about seeing the world in all its complexity and interconnectedness, and that’s exactly what I aim to share through this blog.

As a teacher, I’m passionate about passing on knowledge and fostering curiosity in my students. This blog is an extension of that passion—an opportunity to blend my love for travel with my commitment to environmental awareness and education.
